The Post, the welcome center of Tehaleh, has proven to be a great gathering place for both homeowners and guests. The focus of The Post is to offer a welcoming gathering place for residents, nearby locals and home shoppers alike to relax, explore and experience Tehaleh.
The Post offers a variety of ways for people to engage and learn about the community at their own pace, including a Google Earth map table, informational touch screens, stocked library and a personal community representative to answer any questions.
The Post is at the heart of the community, smartly positioned next to an elementary school, encompassed by the over twenty miles of forest trails. It was imperative that the design of the building compliment the environment and the architecture intentionally brings the outside in with oversized windows that face Mt. Rainier. Outside The Post features two outdoor fireplaces, a barbecue and a 500 sq ft warming hut-the perfect place to meet before or after a hike in the woods. On any given day, The Post is buzzing with groups of hikers who have gathered for walking the trails, friends catching up while gazing at the mountain over a handcrafted cup of coffee from Caffe D’arte and a local treat from CJ’s Deli, or those who are simply enjoying the quite surroundings while sitting by the fire pits.
